As per Proclamation No. 341/2003, nine Regional Chambers of Commerce and Sectorial Association, two city chambers of commerce and Sectorial Associations, one National Chamber of Associations, and Six Associations organized at National level convened a National congress to reorganize the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce (ECC) on April 24, 2007. The reestablishing congress elected a Board of Directors Comprising of 11 persons and renamed the ECC as “Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Association” (ECCSA).
