As per Proclamation No. 341/2003, nine Regional Chambers of Commerce and Sectorial Association, two city chambers of commerce and Sectorial Associations, one National Chamber of Associations, and Six Associations organized at National level convened a National congress to reorganize the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce (ECC) on April 24, 2007. The reestablishing congress elected a Board of Directors Comprising of 11 persons and renamed the ECC as “Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Association” (ECCSA).  All Chambers of Commerce and Sectoral Associations and Chambers of Sectorial Associations are supposed to hold regular meeting once in a year and conduct election every two year.
