 Services and Income Minimize
The ECCSA works towards the creation and development of a vibrant and dynamic private sector in Ethiopia by providing the following services:
Advocacy and Public-Private Partnership Forum (PPPF)

The ECCSA co-ordinates and represents the private sector at the Public Private Partnership Forum(PPPF). The Government has also recognized the national Chamber as the private sector representative and it often invites it to attend government bi-lateral and multi-lateral economic and social events. Organizes meetings, conference, workshops, seminars to present business views to the government and the public

 
Trade Promotion
The ECCSA provides information and other services related to the promotion of trade and investment, business development, and technology transfer through its website and other publications.
Trade Documentation and Information Center (TDIC) is the department of ECCSA in charge of providing relevant and practical information on the development of foreign trade. It is a powerhouse of information on how to do business internationally.
In particular, the center provides the following services:
•     Library service;
•     Internet service;
•     Trade and investment related information;
•     Advise on trade and investment;
•     Certificate of country of origin;
•     Photocopy service.
 
Market Access and Trade Fairs
As part of its mandate, the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations organizes international trade missions to penetrate new foreign markets for Ethiopia's export products. Furthermore, it facilitates the participation of the Ethiopian business community in certain general and specialized international trade fairs.  ECCSA also prepares trade exhibitions across Ethiopia in cooperation with Regional Chambers.
Certification

The Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations issues Certificates of Country of Origin, Certificates of Inspection, and General Certificates. The ECCSA also issues letters of support to the Ethiopian business community for foreign travel. It provides business validation, legalization, and authentication services. Exporters, importers, commission agents and others engaged in trade and commerce are invited to make use of this vital service.

Income: 

The Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations derive its income mainly from:

  • Revenue earned from charges on its direct services to the business community;
  • Annual contributions from Regional Chambers;
  • Grants by international organizations and NGOs.
