ECCSA, supported by the partnership project discussed about quality tax-related advice service extensively with the involved stakeholders and decision-makers in 2004. Subsequently, a team of suitable consultants was established, who - backed by the ECCSA - HWK partnership project - collaborated closely with all stakeholders. The measurable outputs so far included are: 

• Elaboration of a manual for information & training sessions in the cities
• Conduction of information and advisory sessions in the Cities
• A study on taxation on Gondar and the emergence of an exemplary case
• More bilateral agreements between Chambers and tax-administrations
• Mobilization of funds to explore a second option to establish the service

 For the future ECCSA intend to:  

·         Continuation of awareness creation sessions

·         Consolidate and strengthen the services in the pilot cities

·         Exploit synergies with other projects

·         Support sustainability and further dissemination of the service
